Jonathon Matthews is Director of Valuation and Strategic Business Operations who blends his deep valuation expertise with hands-on development and banking experience.
He started his career as a graduate at DTZ in London before moving to Birmingham, where he specialised in valuations, landlord and tenant, and asset management. In 1999, he achieved MRICS status. By 2007, he had joined CBRE as Head of Regional Residential Valuation & Development, establishing a national team from the ground up.
In 2012, Jonathon launched his own development company, delivering bespoke executive homes and self-build projects. Most recently, he was Head of Property Risk at Hodge Bank, responsible for property lending policy and a £2 billion loan book. He has also acted as a High Court witness in high-profile residential development litigation.
